Dir Martha Tilston | 2019 | UK | 95 mins | CFF PG | Music, Doc
On a wild winters night in a secret clifftop cottage in deepest Cornwall, nine musicians and a camera crew collide. Cult songwriters from around the UK were invited to play their best song; no backing band, audience or music industry – Just a house on the edge of a cliff, roaring fire, guitars, grand piano and the invisible magic of song that was palpable that night. To watch this film is to open the door on that late-night music session that most of us rarely get to see. The art of song captured like never before on film.
