WANTED ! Short Film Competition Manager
We need a short film programmer to assist us with the management of festivals short film entries on FilmFreeway and the judging process.
Responsibilities of the job include
- Communicating with filmmaker enquiries
- Help develop the short strands and awards with marketing
- Co-ordinating the judging rounds of the shorts programmes
- Keep up communication with filmmaker & judges, including managing the laurels
- Plan marketing for the shorts programme that meets the festival overall brand design
- Managing the file downloads, imagery and text for publication (print & online)
- Attending regular team meetings & liaison with other professionals
- Help to evaluate the programme
- Experience of a competition platform FilmFreeway or similar
We are looking for a creative person to join our production team
Key skills
- Industry experience & extensive knowledge of the subject area
- Highly motivated and dedicated
- Organisational skills
- Industry contacts
- The ability to work in a team and autonomously
- Customer service experience for dealing with enquiries
- Experience in social media skills, WordPress, MailChimp, Survey Monkey, YouTube & Google platforms
- Technical experience in managing digital files, DCP & playlist would be an advantage
Other details
- Can be managed remotely
- Flexible working, some evenings & weekends may be required
Fee
A fixed fee of £600 for 40 hrs work.
