DOCS HUB | Sharing Documentaries Together

Cornwall Film Festival and the Fish Factory are excited to launch a new Documentary Hub in Penryn, Cornwall.  An opportunity to bring filmmakers and audiences together to screens documentaries made by independent filmmakers addressing a wide range of cultural, political, and social issues. Curious people together for screenings, discussions good food, and a few beers. Join us!

Our first film was Concerning Violence and was been chosen to support Black History Month

Our second feature was Spaceship Earth

Whilst the Fish Factory was closed and we all went into lockdown we teamed up with Tevi to start the discussion around Cornwall’s environmental growth priorities and circular economy transition, presenting online film screenings to new audiences.

Screenings included FOOLS & DREAMERS – Film Screening & Panel discussion

Closing the Loop – Film discussion with Q&A

How it works – when it works IRL !

The events start at 7 pm-7:30 pm for food, with the film starting at 7.45 pm. Tickets are £10 including food and are strictly limited, read safety and FAQ’s here > We ask that all bubbles book as one transaction

This month’s food is a spiced, warming soup served with fresh bread.

We know the fish factory can be a little chilly in the evening, after all it is an old factory so please warp up warm!

If you cant make the screening or need to shield then why not buy a virtual ticket and joining the discussion via Zoom links will be on the news item for each film.
