New Film Talent Module for 2015

Are you an aspiring filmmaker? Want to make your first feature? It’s time to make the leap and join Creative England’s South West Talent Module! Cornwall Film Festival will support travel to this great opportunity with a £500 travel grant. (subject to application, acceptance & interview)

Creative England’s Talent Centres are running courses for emerging filmmakers across the country.

Designed to help emerging filmmakers get their first feature film off the ground, the South West Talent Module is open to people living in the South West of England* as well as Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Hampshire. 

Part of the BFI NET.WORK ,the course will run from July to December 2015 at the Watershed in Bristol.

Over one evening session per month, the course will be packed with information that covers the entire feature-filmmaking process, from development through to production and distribution. Students will also get access to valuable networking opportunities, and the chance to make new industry contacts.

Producer Michael Berliner

More experts will be added to the line-up very soon!

The course is aimed at producers, writers, and directors who have yet to make a feature film that has been theatrically released and distributed in the UK.

We’re looking for applications from people who have a strong and interesting track record in storytelling, so whether you’re in film, TV, theatre, visual arts, make music promos or commercials, you can apply today.

Please note: that applicants have to be over 18 and out of full time education in order to apply. Applicants must be living and based in the South West of England (Bristol, Bath, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Somerset, Dorset, Devon, Cornwall and Somerset), Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Hampshire.
