Cornwall Film Festival 2019 Short Film Competition
The 18th edition of the Cornwall Film Festival is upon us and the time has come to submit your short films & music videos to our competition. If your film is shortlisted, by our panel of expert judges, it will be screened at the 2019 Cornwall Film Festival.
In 2018 we welcomed two times Michael Powell nominated indie director Jamie Adams, actor Craig Russell. Our esteemed Parton Mike Leigh, The Crown actress Marion Bailey. Documentary makers Jeremy Williams, Clare Tavnor, CFF Fellowship awardee Jane Darke & Wildlife Single Shooter Nina Constable. BAFTA and Emmy award-winning Executive Producer, Phillippa Giles. BFI Network Talent Executive Alice Cabanas, filmmakers Dean Puckett (The Sermon), Natasha Price (The Ship), Georgia Goggin (We Love Moses) and Alex Kendall (No Pain Whatsoever) Connie Farr from ThinkSync Music and comedy writer James Henry.
This year, once again we will be showcasing filmmaking talent, bringing worthy filmmakers to regional and national attention. As always Cornwall Film Festival seeks to represent the most innovative and adventurous developments in filmmaking. It is especially interested in filmmakers whose short films manifest stylistic boldness, strength of form, and the ambition to use the medium in a way that resists cliché.
